Exposed Assembly is a playful pavilion that celebrates construction as both process and experience. Designed using wood and rammed earth, the structure itself reveals how it comes together—footings are left visible, joinery is fully exposed, and bright yellow 3D-printed joints add both cross-bracing and highlights the limits of materiality. Rather than concealing the means of its making, Exposed Assembly invites users to engage with the materials and methods that define it. Every beam, joint, and connection is on display, turning structural logic into a tactile and visual experience. The result is an honest and joyful expression of craft, offering a hands-on, educational encounter with architecture’s physicality.
